OÜ NG Logistics good business practice

The purpose of good business practice is to assemble and describe the most important principles that NG Logistics employees and cooperation partners are obliged to follow in their activities. NG Logistics expects honest, ethical and law-abiding behaviour from its employees and partners in all situations.

In its activities and in drawing up the good business practice, NG Logistics is guided by national and international guidelines and principles, including the Corporate Governance Recommendations of the Financial Supervision Authority and the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, as well as the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.

NG Logistics exemplary business principles

For NG Logistics, it is important to follow the exemplary business principles and we expect this also from our partners. Following the exemplary business principles is a prerequisite for successful cooperation with NG Logistics; ignoring the principles may be the basis for terminating cooperation with partners.

Ethics and compliance

  • In all of our activities we are guided by laws and other valid legislation and the customs and practices applicable to the respective field of activity.
  • In the event of any inconsistencies between these principles or other mutual agreements and other applicable legislation, the more stringent requirements shall prevail in the conduct of activities.
  • NG Logistics, our employees and our partners behave in an ethical, fair and professional manner.
  • The cooperation partner shall adhere to the principles described herein in all its business relations and shall do everything reasonably possible to ensure that its partners also adhere to the same principles.

Conflict of interests

  • NG Logistics employees and partners behave reliably and avoid situations where their personal interests or those of their family members would conflict with the interests of NG Logistics or where they cannot act in the interests of NG Logistics.
  • A partner and employee of NG Logistics shall immediately inform the competent persons of NG Logistics of such situations where a conflict of interest has arisen or is likely to arise. The cooperation partner of NG Logistics will do everything possible to ensure that its partners follow the same principles.

Prohibition of corruption and prevention of money laundering

  • NG Logistics, our employees and partners apply a zero-tolerance approach to all forms of corruption, including bribery, fraud or any other prohibited business practices, and follow it in all their activities. It is not allowed in any activities, to use the position to gain benefit or to give an unfair advantage to a third party, or to do other favours.
  • In mutual relations, the purpose of giving, receiving gifts and mutual hospitality is only to develop goodwill and friendly working relationships, not to influence someone into a preferred behaviour or activity. The giving and receiving of gifts and hospitality must be carried out in accordance with the legislation in force and the company’s specific regulations in this regard, and in every way to avoid situations where this could be interpreted as illegal or any suspicious activity. In case of doubt about the appropriateness of gifts and hospitality, the employees must always consult with their line manager, preferring rather not to give and accept gifts and refrain from hospitality.
  • NG Logistics, our employees and partners strongly oppose all forms of money laundering and apply all measures to prevent the use of financial transactions for money laundering. The cooperation partner of NG Logistics will do everything reasonably possible to ensure that its partners follow the same principles.

Confidentiality and handling of inside information

  • The partners and employees of NG Logistics are obliged to keep and transmit trade secrets and inside information in a secure and confidential manner and must not misuse any inside information that has come to their knowledge. Inside information is deemed to be undisclosed information which is directly or indirectly related to NG Logistics. Trade secrets and other proprietary information about NG Logistics’ operations, technology, resources, financial condition, contracts, customers, suppliers, partners or pricing policies are considered confidential.
  • The partners of NG Logistics shall ensure that, in all contractual relationships, confidential information of NG Logistics is covered by the obligation of confidentiality and the respective obligation also applies to all its employees and partners.

Supporting free competition

  • NG Logistics, our employees and partners work in free and fair competition, and do not prevent, restrict or distort free competition in their business activities.
  • NG Logistics partners and employees comply with competition rules, do not enter into illegal agreements and do not act in concert with anyone in a way that would undermine fair competition.

Equal treatment and social responsibility

  • In our activities, we treat all people equally, respecting human rights. No group or individual shall be discriminated against on any grounds, including sex, age, race, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic origin, disability, political opinions, membership of an association or religious beliefs.
    NG Logistics and partners do not support the use of any forced labour.
  • Business relationships with any third party that uses forced labour or purchases from a subcontractor that uses forced labour of any kind, as well as child labour, shall be terminated.
  • NG Logistics and partners fully support the personal and professional development of employees, ensuring that working conditions comply with local legislation and enabling a safe and healthy working environment.
  • NG Logistics and partners comply with all applicable laws regarding working conditions, including laws regarding the safety and health of employees, sanitary requirements, fire safety, risk protection, electrical, mechanical and structural safety.

Environmental awareness

  • NG Logistics, our employees and partners are environmentally sustainable in their activities and always strive not to harm the environment.
  • NG Logistics, our employees and partners support recycling and sustainable consumption habits in their activities, including saving electricity, water and heating, and implement comprehensive care for the surrounding environment in their activities.
